Recently, Nexia International worldwide celebrated the first global “Nexia Day.” This day is intended to give all firms throughout the network the chance to get together and reflect upon what it means to work for Nexia, and be a part of our growing network. Morning teas and other social events were held at Nexia offices all over the network.
Part of the theme of the day involved reflecting on our key values:
- Enduring Relationships,
- Being Business Minded and
- Being There for Our Clients.
The Enduring Relationships theme was no better reflected than in our Sydney office where we acknowledged three individuals whose work anniversaries with us were 30 years, 15 years and 10 years respectively. These are certainly wonderful achievements in today’s job-hopping
world but then again, not so uncommon with the staff and partners in many of our Nexia firms.

Finally, at the International Accounting Bulletin awards in London this October, we were nominated for the Network of the Year. While we didn’t take out the win this year, it was certainly a privilege to stand alongside so many large networks, who are all doing great things in their own right.
To me, this nomination only confirms that Nexia is heading in the right direction and that our core values resonate with both our clients and staff. I hope you agree.
