At Nexia, we believe potential isn’t defined by where you start – it’s defined by how far you’re willing to go, and the impact you choose to make along the way.
Ian began more than 40 years ago as a Cadet. Through dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our people and to Nexia, he progressed to become a Partner, Managing Partner of our Sydney office, Chair of Nexia Australia, Chair of our Asia Pacific region, and, most recently, Chair of the global Nexia network – a role he held until 2023.
While that progression is remarkable in itself, what truly sets Ian apart is not the titles he has held, but the way he has led at every stage of his career.
With calm assurance, sound judgement and thoughtful guidance, Ian has been a steady and trusted presence for decades. He has shaped our firm, strengthened connections, and made a meaningful impact across our national and global network, setting a benchmark for leadership that endures.
Ian’s career reflects Nexia at its very best – an environment where ambition is supported, leadership is nurtured, and opportunities extend far beyond what you might first imagine. His story is a powerful reminder of what is possible through commitment, integrity, and embracing opportunity.
We congratulate Ian on an extraordinary career and thank him for the lasting contribution he has made to our firm and broader network.
