He has over 30 years’ experience in audit and business services with big-four, mid-tier and boutique chartered accounting firms – with a broad range of clients that span small and medium size enterprises, publicly listed companies, not-for-profit entities and high net worth individuals. His specialist experience includes medical and health product suppliers, mineral resource exploration, manufacturing and Australian financial services licensees.
Renowned for his expert knowledge and strong client relationships built up over many years, Stephen is proud to be considered a first point of contact for clients looking for specialist advice. He is skilled at researching and providing tailored advice on difficult issues and works well under pressure with tight deadlines and multiple concurrent assignments. Stephen’s ability to identify issues and solutions that will improve business processes and outcomes for his clients ensures he provides a comprehensive service beyond the agreed compliance deliverables.
A member of the Nexia team for four years, Stephen has also spent three years working with a large Australian-listed multinational in a dual role as Group Accountant and Company Secretary – a role that has stood him in great stead for international business dealings.
