Ken’s understanding of the range of taxes including income, fringe benefits, PAYG, GST, Capital Gains Tax, and payroll tax qualify him to assist with queries on a broad range of topics.

He has also had many years experience in dealing with the Taxation Department, including successful objections to assessments and in more recent times successful applications for Private Rulings. He has also appeared before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal on behalf of clients in relation to taxation and valuation matters in connection with Centrelink assessments.

He is very proficient with salary packaging and has designed packages for well known sports people and consulted to leading businesses about packaging for their executives.

Ken has over 30 years experience in valuation work and has been called upon to value a wide range of businesses which have been tested in the Family Courts for property settlement disputes and in relation to stamp duty submissions.

Dealing with the special taxation treatment of deceased estates has been an expertise gained over 25 years of working with solicitors on deceased estates. Ken is one of four accountants in QLD who are members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Ken has become adept at estate planning issues and is regularly consulted by solicitors and clients on these matters.
