Niamh worked as an auditor for more than eight years before joining the Corporate Services division at Nexia Perth in 2022.

While working in Dublin, Niamh qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Ireland. Niamh completed two secondments in Australia before moving full-time to Nexia Perth in 2018. Niamh is currently a member of both Chartered Accountants Ireland and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Niamh has client experience with a broad range of clients, from ASX-listed companies to family-owned businesses and Not-for-profits, in sectors including mining, oil and gas, IT and technology, construction, distribution, manufacturing, property investment, and education.

Jannine has over three decades of experience in accounting and commercial roles, both in the UK and Australia, and she is committed to delivering results, enabling client success.

Jannine specialises in the preparation of bespoke management accounts, budgeting, financial forecasting, business planning, cash flow analysis, system evaluation, and internal control review. Her wide range of client experience encompasses small family owned businesses, medium sized organisations, Not-for-profits and ASX listed companies.

Jannine is empathetic, open-minded, and honest delivering clarity and peace of mind for clients.

Brendan is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience as a corporate tax professional in both mid-tier and Big 4 firms.

Brendan has worked with a diverse client base across a range of industries including fund management, property development, telecommunications, retail, hospitality and agri-business. Brendan prides himself on his personable yet professional approach to assisting his clients with their tax compliance and advisory needs.

Brendan’s experience includes assisting clients from local start-ups to large multinational companies with international and local group restructures, due diligence, tax health checks, strategic management of tax disputes including client risk reviews and audits with the Australian Taxation Office as well as assisting his diverse client base in complying with their direct and indirect tax compliance obligations.

Adele is an Associate and joins the firm with over 20 years’ experience in business advisory and audit and assurance, both in New Zealand and the UK.  

She joined Nexia New Zealand in 2022 when the firm merged with DK Alexander, where she held the role of Practice Manager for over a decade. During that time, she developed strong relationships with the firm’s clients and has supported them in their move to Nexia. 

Beginning her career in audit, she entered the industry as a graduate before quickly progressing to manager.  

Adele has an exceptional understanding of financial results, which enables her to easily explain key concepts and help her clients to understand what the numbers are telling them.

Chris was promoted to Partner in 2022, having started his career as a graduate with local accounting firm, Marriotts (which merged to become Nexia in 2016). He has a strong desire to help his clients meet their goals, and believes that accounting isn’t just about filing tax returns; it’s about understanding your business to make better decisions and reach your full potential.

Chris particularly enjoys working with businesses that are starting up. He helps them understand what their results are telling them, taking the financial confusion out of their early years in business.

Having grown up on a dairy farm, he is passionate about the primary sector and understands what makes farmers tick.

In his spare time, Chris is a keen sportsman who enjoys playing rugby, cricket and touch, as well as spending time with his young family.

Doug Abrahams began his career journey across the pond in South Africa working for some pretty well regarded names in the industry. Today, Doug is a Partner within our Business Advisory team, coming onboard in 2023 after building his own practice in the heart of Caulfield.  

Not only is Doug a numbers guy, he's also a true people person. His technical abilities combined with his natural charm make him one of most sought after advisors at our Caulfield office.

A Certified Practising Accountant. Doug earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Port Elizabeth University (SA) and also holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

As a trained psychologist prior to joining the accounting profession, Eva enjoys providing a holistic approach to addressing clients’ requirements. She believes in maintaining open channels of communication with clients.

Eva has experience and expertise in business and tax advice, compliance matters, tax planning and tax structures. Eva has a large portfolio of long term clients which include high net worth individuals and small to large sized businesses.

Eva works hard to ensure that Nexia Caulfield’s team members work in a supportive and nurturing environment to achieve optimal outcomes for all clients.

Michael is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Registered Company Auditor with over 15 years of experience in the Australian financial regulatory environment. 

Michael’s expertise lies in implementing a risk-based audit approach and developing and executing an efficient audit process while ensuring compliance with Australian statutory reporting requirements. He proactively addresses a wide range of technical accounting matters and demonstrates a deep understanding of accounting best practices and policies.

Operating in a fast paced continually changing environment, Michael focusses on developing and leading diverse teams, consistently achieving desired outcomes both for his client base as well as his teams.
