Melbourne
As the weather finally started to warm up in Melbourne, the office wellbeing program went into full swing with the commencement of their weekly running group, a BoxFit class with the team from LifestyleLAB, lunchtime pilates and yoga.
In December some of the team from our Melbourne office participated in the Carman’s Women’s Fun Run. The 10km run raises funds in support of the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and all Australians affected by breast cancer.
Brisbane
Our Brisbane office has been busy working on two new services to further expand Nexia Australia’s offerings. NEXTension QLD; a solution dedicated to partnering with professional accounting firms giving them access to our Nexia Network, and NEXTsteps; a tool to assist clients by identifying their key business issues through a series of questions.
And to finish off the year, both our Brisbane and Brisbane South offices came together to celebrate the end of 2019 with an “Oktoberfest in December” themed Christmas Party.
Canberra
Clients and staff from our Canberra Office spent December busy collecting goods for the Communities@Work Annual Christmas Drive. The organization provides food, gifts and emotional support to families and individuals under pressure, especially during the holiday period.
Their support contributed to an overall effort which saw 1,771 gifts given out and 227 households supplied with food.
Sydney
Our Sydney office are proud to announce that they have become the sponsors of Marine Rescue Port Jackson. Marine Rescue NSW are a non-Government volunteer organisation dedicated to saving lives in the water. The Port Jackson unit is one of forty-four strategically-located units across NSW and provides emergency response services to vessels in Sydney Harbour.

Kirsty is a forward thinker who consistently keeps clients up to date on their current financial situation, to ensure they can make decisions based on relevant and timely information.
Melbourne
Congratulations to our Melbourne office Advisor, Audrey Chen who was nominated for the Accountants Daily 30 Under 30 awards. This is a major achievement for Audrey and the Nexia Melbourne Team.
